Managerial Competencies: A Pattern for Top Managers' Competency of Medical Sciences Universities

Background and aims: Managers’ competencies can influence the organization’s development effectively promote improve management implementation of planned changes. This study addresses developing pattern specific competence senior managers universities medical sciences. Methods: research was conducted in two qualitative quantitative phases 2021-2022. First, it done using a approach conventional content analysis. The tool semi-structured interview. data from interviews with 17 participants through purposeful sampling method depended on criteria. In second phase, variables identified first phase were measured correlation structural equation model AMOS software. for collecting information this researcher-made questionnaire based research. respondents, Lawshe’s validity ratio coefficient, factor analysis confirmed questionnaire’s face, content, construct validity. Its reliability estimated Cronbach’s alpha coefficient at higher than 0.7. population department consists departments sciences university (n=196). Results: findings showed that 43 subscales placed 18 general categories paradigm (causal factors, contextual conditions, intervening strategies, consequences). causal main category 0.57, background factors strategies 0.59, 0.43, 0.52. Finally, results obtained 0.46. Conclusion: may contribute to knowledge about unique top improvement human resources achieve goals success. These be considered evaluating selecting talented resources.
